How to Create an ACC32 and Send it to ACC

If additional treatment is required for a condition, use GPM to create and send an ACC32.
There is now the ability to get approval from ACC via phone or their website for an ACC32. In this scenario the ACC32 still needs to be created but does not need to be sent.
If required, there are 3 ways you can send an ACC32 to ACC:
- Via HealthLink messaging
- Generate the ACC32 report then print and post to ACC
- Generate the ACC32 report then email it to ACC.

Prerequisites
A condition has been created with the claim type ACC: see Create a Condition for a New ACC Claim.
You have subscribed to HealthLink Messaging Service: see Subscribing to HealthLink Messaging Service.

When ACC have approved the ACC32, change the Status to 'Accepted' in the Status drop down at the top of the page, and add the Approval number or Purchase Order number if given.
