You can use the Medicare Online Service and Gensolve to submit claims to Medicare for services provided by your practice.

Note: Gensolve is currently unable to process claims for DVA Speech Pathology & DVA Community Nursing.

Medicare Bulk Billing Claim

Resubmitting Bulk Bill Claims

1. If you need to Resubmit a Medicare Bulk Bill Claim, follow the process shown above in the video again.  When the pop up notification appears stating, "WARNING:This Appointment has been already claimed. Continue?" >> Click Yes.  Continue with the claim process as per normal, the claim will be resubmitted.

2. Once this is completed ,go to Medicare >> Reconciliation >> Search for the Original Claim and click on    to archive it.  This removes the old claim from appearing in Reconciliation Screen.

Medicare DVA Claim

Note: If your patient holds a DVA White Card they are only able to claim for Accepted Disabilities.  DVA now requires an Accepted Disability code to be entered as part of the Claim Process.  You will need to contact DVA for the relevant accepted Code.

Resubmitting DVA Claims

Resubmitting Patient Claims

1. If you need to Resubmit a Medicare Patient claim , follow the process shown above in the video again. Unlike Bulk Bill and DVA type claims, the payment is processed from Medicare to the Patient, thus no further action is required in the Medicare Reconciliation Screen
