Issue

Gensolve Practice Manager needs to be installed on a computer where a previous version had been installed.

Solution

  1. Hold down the Windows key on your keyboard and tap the E key simultaneously.

Note: The Windows key is typically between the bottom-left Ctrl and Alt keys.

  1. Click in the highlighted white space area to the right hand side of the Quick access text.

  1. You should then be able to type over the text in the field.

Note: It doesn't matter if you see something other than Quick access, you just need to type over the text.

  1. Type %localappdata% and press enter.

  1. Double click on the Apps folder to open it

  1. Delete the 2.0 folder

Note: If you get an error when trying to delete the 2.0 folder, you should reboot the PC, and then try again.

  1. If you now double click on the Gensolve icon to run it, Gensolve should download and install itself again.
