Issue

When visiting Support Centre the topics are not shown properly, some have not been updated or no searches can be performed.

Reason

The browser's cache data needs to be refreshed/cleared up.

Solution

Please follow the steps below to refresh/clear your browser's cache:

Using Chrome

  1. Before using the new release of the Support Centre, ensure you do not have other windows opened and pointing to the previous version of the Support Centre.
  2. When opening Chrome via GPM  >> F1, use Ctrl + F5 on the window that opens before doing a search in order to refresh the cache.
  3. If the issue persists:
  • Open Chrome on a blank page
  • Press F12 (or Ctrl + Shift + I)
  • Click on Network tab and tick Disable Cache

  1. If still no luck:
  • Open Chrome on a blank page
  • At the top right corner, click on to open the Menu
  • Click More tools and select Clear browsing data...

    

  • Select the check boxes depending on the information you want to remove
  • Use the menu at the top to select the amount of data you want to delete. In case you want to delete everything, select the beginning of Time
  • Click Clear Browsing Data

  1. If none of the previous were successful, open a Chrome Incognito window (Ctrl + Shift + N) and work with that window rather than GPM >> F1

Using Internet Explorer

  1. Before using the new release of the Support Centre, ensure you do not have other windows opened and pointing to the previous version of the Support Centre.
  2. When opening IE via GPM  >> F1, use Ctrl + F5 on the window that opens before doing a search in order to refresh the cache.
  3. If the issue persists:
  • Open IE on a blank page
  • Press F12 (or Ctrl + Shift + I)
  • Click on Network tab
  • Click on to Clear Cache

  1. If still no luck:
  • Open IE on a blank page
  • At the top right corner, click on to open the Menu
  • Click Settings >> Under Clear browsing data section, click on Choose what to clear

  • Select the check boxes depending on the information you want to remove

  • Click Clear          

 

  1. If none of the previous were successful, open a New In-Private window (Ctrl + Shift + N) and work with that window rather than GPM >> F1

Using Firefox

  1. Before using the new release of the Support Centre, ensure you do not have other windows opened and pointing to the previous version of the Support Centre.
  2. When opening Firefox via GPM  >> F1, use Ctrl + F5 on the window that opens before doing a search in order to refresh the cache.
  3. If the issue persists:
  • Open Firefox on a blank page
  • Press F12 (or Ctrl + Shift + I)
  • Click on Network to display the Developer Tools
  • Under Advanced Settings section, check Disable Cache (when toolbox is open)

Note: Once the Developer Tools Menu is closed, the cache will be enabled again

  1. If still no luck:
  • Open Firefox on a blank page
  • At the top right corner, click on to open the Menu
  • Click History and select Clear Recent History

  • Select the check boxes depending on the information you want to remove
  • Use the menu at the top to select the amount of data you want to delete.
  • Click Clear Now

  1. If none of the previous were successful, open a New Private window (Ctrl + Shift + P) and work with that window rather than GPM >> F1.
