Issue

I need to save an attachment that was received via HealthLink messages to my client's Letters & Uploads without having to save it first on the computer and upload from there.

Note: This can only be done for received HealthLink messages that have attachments; this cannot apply to messages that have the information in the body of the message.

Solution

When receiving a Client-related HealthLink message with files attached, the attachments will be saved to the respective Client's Uploads.

By default, this option is turned on, but can be disabled on the Vendor Details > Other Settings tab, by deselecting the option "Show Secure Message Attachments with Upload files".

With this setting enabled, you will be able to see the HealthLink attachments as follows:

  1. Locate the client the message was related to and click Uploads
  2. Filter the uploaded files by HealthLink Attachments and click Get Data

  • Click on to preview the file. Please note that you will not be able to make changes to it.

  • Click on to open the HealthLink message seen in the Uploads to view the original message.

  • In the Uploads area you will not be able to select (duplicate) as the attachment is linked to a received HealthLink message.
  • You will not be able to select (lock) as the attachment is linked to a received HealthLink message.
  • You will not be able to select (delete) as the attachment is linked to a received HealthLink message.
  • Click on to send the file via email.
